You're drowning in "Noise"
And it's ruining your growth
Twitter is a river of information.
Facebook is a wave of notifications.
Our inboxes are flooded with emails all fighting for our precious attention.
And if you’re like me…
Every time you boot up Chrome it feels like you’re bombarded by TOO much information and not enough substance.
Your focus feels scattered, and your productivity suffers because of it.
Your growth slows and your progress comes to a screeching halt.
The not-so-shocking truth?
The internet was designed to distract us!
Butttttt that doesn’t mean we have to give in to the noise.
And before you read any further…
Here’s a disclaimer about me: 😲
I've struggled with procrastination, focus, and motivation my entire life.
I HATE distractions.
Distractions are the murderers of productivity and the thieves of time.
I've tried every "productivity hack" under the sun…
I've read more books on the topic than I can count…
And after years of trial and error, I've finally found a simple method that works for me.
There’s a way to cut through the noise AND tame the information overload beast.
And the best part?
You don’t need an app, tool, or system to make this work.

How To Destroy Distractions And Eliminate Noise For Good
This past month I moved back to America, and took a step back from creating everyday.
I realized I was caught up in shiny object syndrome…
I joined 6 online communities.
4 separate group chats.
And was subscribed to what felt like a million blogs.
I was trying to maximize my learning by consuming as much information as possible.
Marketing, Copywriting, Mindset, Business Strategy…
You name it, I was all over it.
The problem with this approach is that I wasn’t giving myself time to process, implement, or reflect on any of the information I was taking in.
I was just consuming for the sake of consuming.
What I hear, I forget. What I see, I remember. What I do, I understand. - Xunzi
So I started eliminating my ‘distractions’ ruthlessly.
Forget about filters.
Forget about systems.
I went full nuclear and deleted everything that was pulling my attention in too many directions.
Instead of posting on Twitter, FB, and IG—> I only check Twitter.
Instead of being subscribed to 20+ blogs—> I’m only subscribed to 1.
Instead of being in 6 online communities and 4 group chats —> I’m only in 1 of each.
I feel lighter.
I feel freer.
And best of all…
I feel in-freakin-distractable.
The key to eliminating distractions is to understand that you can’t just filter them out…
You must remove them entirely.
If something is pulling your attention in too many directions…
Get rid of it.
It’s that simple.
The more you delete, the more you will focus.
If you’re serious about becoming more productive, eliminating distractions is a non-negotiable.
Focus is either 100% or 0%.
There is no in-between.
And if anyone is telling you otherwise, they’re lying.
Till next week,
