For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been on a ton of coaching calls with all sorts of Writers.
Aspiring Writers.
Professional Writers.
Copywriters.
Armchair-Writers
The “I-write-but-I-haven’t-written-in-months” Writers
They’ve all experienced Imposter Syndrome, Writers block, or Creative Dry Spells… that left them feeling unconfident in their identity one way or another…
And somewhere along the call I hear them whisper the words:
I just don’t feel like a Writer…anymore.
And one nagging question keeps popping up in my head…
At what point do you consider yourself a Writer?
Is it when you publish your first article?
Is it when you slap “writer” on your LinkedIn bio?
Is it when your friends call you one?
Is it when you introduce yourself as a writer?
Is it when you write everyday?
Does journaling count as writing?
And at what point do you “stop” being a writer?
👋Send me your answers! I’m genuinely curious.
I’m working on a piece that addresses this very question so I’d love your opinion.
As always, see you next week!

My ChatGPT Guide for Writers is nearing 4000+ words :)🥳
I’m feeling some real 🔥coming out of this guide. I haven’t written this much since working at an agency and it feels good to punch away at the keyboard.
Its 50% done content wise and the only thing left to do is to fill out the advance tutorials and upload the screenshots.
The only trouble I’m running into is I don’t know how to make it aesthetically pleasing. 🤔
I’m slowly growing my coaching clientele! 😊
I think I broke my brain 🤯this past week hopping on so many intense coaching calls. I’m excited that I’ve been able to meet with so many writers but I still haven’t found a good balance between coaching + deep writing yet.

I used to be a huge Calendly fanatic…
👉 But since I found Cal 👈I haven’t looked back since! It’s sleek, minimal, and FREE. I can’t imagine taking my scheduling calls any differently.
thank you for the shoutout of https://cal.com!
When you publish your first article, you become a writer in the eyes of the world. But the process of becoming a writer had started long before.
Writing everyday isn't necessary to be a writer. But you must be disciplined, if you want to be a good writer.
And yes, journaling counts as writing.
