Effortless Twitter Mastery Ch2: The One Factor That Leads to Creator Success
We're all just internet farmers trying to hit it big. đ±
This past week something CRAZY happened.
I spotted a tiny mushroom pop out of my soil bag!
ITâS HAPPENNING GUYS!!
Here is the baby shroom in all of itâs gloryđ
Preface: I started this Mushroom Growing Project in June hoping Iâd have an entire basket of delicious veggies by AugustâŠ.
but disaster struck at the worst moment and 5 of 6 of my experiments died.
With only one plot of soil left this feels like an absolute miracle đ.
Okay, so now youâre probably wonderingâŠWhy the heck is Brian talking about growing mushrooms?đ€
Being a farmer is exactly like being a creator đ±
Although you probably wonât need a green thumb, what you will need is:
The artistic flair and creativity to grow beautiful creations.
The analytical mind to experiment and course-correct your strategy.
Consistent daily action.
For the sake of brevity, Iâll be talking about 3.
Why you must be âGROWINGâ your creator projectsđȘŽ
The word grow is key here.
Just like how a plant needs consistent watering, a project needs consistent action.
Most creators start their projects well but few rarely ever finish them.
And in this world of 24/7 internet content⊠finishing is what matters most.
In fact, finishing is the ONLY thing that matters.
Because guess what?
No one is reading your half baked drafts.
No one is looking at your unfinished landing page.
No one is learning from your unpublished newsletter.
And in the words of Dan Cook, âThe opera ain't over till the fat lady sings.â
Quitting half way is the equivalent of planting a seed, watering it for 2 weeks, throwing the ENTIRE clay pot out the window because nothing happenedâ and THEN complain about how the algorithm didnât work for you so you decided to start a new endeavor.
So I urge youâŠ
Please donât quit whatever it is youâre working on. Keep at it. Resist the urge to end early. Pour your energy into your passions. Grow. Grow. Grow. Be like a farmer watering his plants.
And who knows?
You may have a pleasant surprise like I did.
Tilâ next week,

And guess what?
Brian, Congratulations on your baby mushroom! I loved this post. I found it interesting that it came out just after I made a landing page. Now I'm considering a domain. (I know that's in the opposite order.) I'm not even it this for the money. But why not?
