Enjoy the 26 life lessons below!
1)If you're organized you'll never need a 'productivity hack' in your life.
The majority of people who look up productivity hacks really just need to stay organized. Being organized is actually the “ultimate” hack ;)
2) Without action, information is useless
3) Raise a dog, learn to pick up 💩, and you'll be a happier person.
4) The best form of networking is writing. ✍️✍️✍️
5) An air fryer is just a convectional oven with a fancy name.
6) The best ideas come in 3️⃣'s.
I learned this as part of my stand-up comedy training, and it’s been cemented in my brain ever since.
7) You'll always regret fast food at 11pm. Yes. Always.
8) Finding your passion is bullsh*t. Just do the damn thing. (An ode to my first ship30 essay ever.)
9) Learn to cook and you’ll never have problems making friends.
10) Start viewing your year-long goals as month long experiments and you'll get there a lot faster.
Reading the 12 week year by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington really shifted my mindset on goals. Yearly goals are often too far ahead to give you accountability, and are harder to measure. Stick to short-term sprints instead.
11) You don't need to be a morning person.😴
Sleep in once and a while!
12) The more you write, the more you write.
13) Being good at something doesn't mean you'll enjoy it.
14) Just because you're good at something doesn't mean you should do it.
15) Nobody cares about you as much as your ego.
16) It's more important to succeed at something small over and over, than to fail at something big once.
17) The internet is filled with marketers, trolls, and posers. Don't believe everything you see.
18) It doesn't matter how many times you start, it only matters if you finish.
Are you a chronic starter? Read Jon Acuff’s Finish: Give Yourself the Gift of Done. It was a phenomenal read.
19) Constraints are the key to getting sh*t done.
20) Your life is more than emails, likes, and comments.
21) Life is a giant video game. Treat it like such.
22) Stretch your hamstrings every day.
23) One paid course is worth 1000 free ones.
24) If you're not willing to bet your hard earn 💸, you're not serious about it.
25) The people that make the most money are the ones who ask for it.
26) It’s easier to not mess up than it is to succeed wildly.
See you next week,
